Winter parking rules now in effect in village

The Grafton Police Department began enforcing winter parking restrictions Tuesday, Dec. 1.

In a statement from the department, no vehicle can be parked on village streets between 2 and 7 a.m. for more than 30 minutes.

Vehicle owners can make alternative arrangements by asking the department for permission for overnight parking.

Police Chief Jeff Caponera said each vehicle is only allotted a certain number of permissions each season. 

The overnight parking restrictions are in effect through March 2021.
