Winter’s first serious blast has residents digging out

Michael Olson (left photo) manned a snowblower and Hallee Tretow took up a shovel on Saturday after winter showed itself in a big way this past weekend, dumping several inches of the heavy wet stuff on Fredonia and the rest of Ozaukee County. A smattering of snow is expected the rest of this week with clear skies on the weekend, according to the National Weather Service.                       Photos by Sam Arendt
