The Wing It! chicken wings restaurant in Port Washington will soon be rebranding itself.
Starting Friday, May 24, the eatery at 620 W. Grand Ave. will be called Good Land Wing Co.
The restaurant will also shift its focus from fried to oven-baked wings.
“The reason for the big change over is simple, we want to provide food that people love, like chicken wings, but without the guilt of having it deep fried,” owner Josh Brown said in a press release. “We want to make eating healthier easy for anyone to do, no fitness diet or meal plan needed.”
The company has been in business in Port for four years and has a second location near the campus of the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee.
Brown said rebranding was part of the decision to remain in Port.
“We came to the point in our travels that it was either time to expand and relocate when we rebrand or invest back into my hometown and really give back to the community that helped us grow into what we are today,” he said. “The answer was easy, so here we are.”
