Willy Porter concert to benefit Advocates

Willy Porter will hold his 20th concert to benefit Advocates of Ozaukee on Friday, Feb. 17.

The concert will be at 7:30 p.m. at the Cedarburg Cultural Center.

Porter lives in Milwaukee but grew up in Mequon and has returned to Ozaukee County for a charity concert annually.

Tickets are $30 or two for $50. They may be purchased online at advocatesofozaukee.com.

If available, tickets will be sold at the door for $30.

Doors to the center at W62 N546 Washington Ave. open at 7 p.m.

Advocates of Ozaukee offers programs to the victims of domestic and sexual abuse. The agency operates a shelter for as many as 16 women and children.

Advocates also offers programs such as emergency transportation, food, counseling, legal and medical advocacy, 24-hour crisis line, referral services, transitional housing, a youth outreach program and support groups for women and children.
