Walk-a-thon set for Oct. 11

The Parent-Teacher-Student Organization of the Cedar Grove-Belgium School District will hold its third annual walk-a-thon on Thursday, Oct. 11.

Grades 4K through eight will participate throughout the school day. Snacks and prizes will be available.

The event is the PTSO’s largest fundraiser of the year. This year’s goal is to raise $7,500, PTSO President Chanel Schmidt said.

The PTSO this year has redesigned its mission, values and goals. Its mission statement is “to strengthen, enhance, and encourage the educational and social environment of the Cedar Grove-Belgium students.”
