Volunteers needed at Port’s Eghart House
Volunteer guides are being sought to lead tours of the Eghart House, a restored Victorian home depicting life in the 1800s.
Thousands of people have visited the house at 302 W. Grand Ave. since it opened in 1970.
Volunteers will get a guide book that will teach them about the history of the city and the house, training and an end-of-the-year celebration.
Due to the Covid-19 pandemic, the Eghart House will follow established guidelines regarding social distancing and the wearing of masks.
For more information or to volunteer, call Kara Eulgen at (414) 530-9692 or Gina Taucher at 284-2875 or visit www.egharthouse.org.
