A visit from deputies on the school lunch menu

Ozaukee Elementary School student Owen Ansay received a high-five from deputy Santino Valente, who serves as the resource officer for the Northern Ozaukee School District in Fredonia, during an Ozaukee Sheriff’s Office Protect and Serve Lunch last week. Deputies help serve lunch and join students for recess as part of the program intended to give children a chance to meet the people who protect them.                         Photo by Sam Arendt
