Virtual Fish Day Run, Walk to be held in July

    A virtual version of the Fish Day Run and Walk, titled “Can’t Stop at 55 – Virtual Run, Walk and Roll,” will be held in July to benefit Portal Industries.
    The event will celebrate Portal’s 55 years of continuous service to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
    It will allow participants to run, walk, bicycle or enjoy other activities to raise money for the agency.
    From Friday, July 3, through Monday, July 20, individuals may participate by:
  • Running a 5K or 15K route of their choice or the 8K traditional Fish Day Run route.
  • Walking a one or five-mile route or the two-mile traditional Fish Day Walk route.
  • Bicycling a 10 or 25-mile route of their choice.
  • Whatever else they want for the time or distance of their choice.
    The cost is $30 per individual or $25 per person for a group of three or more people.
