Village buys two acres in own industrial park

The Village of Fredonia has purchased a two-acre parcel in its industrial park on South Milwaukee Street in hopes of making a village-owned parcel there more marketable. 

The village purchased the property for $17,500. The sale closed in December. 

The parcel abuts a one-acre plot that the village has owned for some time.

It also contains a wetland, limiting its development potential.
