Town zoning ordinances to be recodified by end of 2020

The Saukville Town Board voted Tuesday night to spend $39,800 by the end of 2020 to recodify its zoning ordinances.

Stantec engineering consultants will do the work, focusing on adding definitions to conditional uses, adding cross references and cleaning up contradictions.

The length of time is necessary, officials said, due in part to the fact the Plan Commission meets just once a month.

It’s possible the project could be completed sooner than anticipated, officials said.
