Town had less crime, more construction projects in 2020

Recapping progress in the Town of Saukville during the past year topped the agenda April 20 when outgoing Town Chairman Don Hamm called the community’s 2021 annual meeting to order.

Unlike other town meetings where elected town supervisors drive the decisions, the annual town meeting is where town electors are in the governmental driver’s seat, making the motions, seconds and votes on the agenda items.

“The motions have to come from residents of the town, and we have to count the votes,” Hamm noted of annual town meeting protocols.
