Their athletic careers will carry on in college

Two Grafton High School seniors have signed letters of intent to play college athletics. Dominic Voiland (above) will play football for Carnegie Mellon University in Pittsburgh. Voiland, a wide receiver, had 62 catches for 521 yards and eight touchdowns, some on jet sweeps, last season. He made the North Shore Conference first team for the second straight season. Joining him at the signing ceremony were (top row, from left) Grafton football coach Jim Norris, assistant coach Luke Menzel, Edward Scherr, Dominic’s mother Molly Scherr, Bella Voiland, Cecilia Scherr, his father Joseph Voiland and Grafton assistant football coach Eric Graf.
