Talking about the village over a cup of coffee
Hosting Coffee with the Village, (from left) Eric Leet, a sergeant with the Village of Fredonia Marshal’s Office, Village President Dan Gehrke, Village Administrator Christophe Jenkins and Trustee Richard Abegglen met with residents Sunday to discuss various issues. Among them was the splash pad the village intends to build in Marie Krause Park as seen in the rendering leaning against the table. The project is estimated to cost $388,000. The village has earmarked $100,000 in American Rescue Plan Act funds for the pad, and the recently formed nonprofit organization Friends of Fredonia Parks and Recreation is working to raise the balance.
