Supporting the Niederkorn Library

Members of the Friends of the Niederkorn Library in Port Washington recently presented a $3,000 check to Library Director Tom Carson (front) to support summer reading programs at the library. Presenting the funds were (from left) members of the Friends’ board of directors, including Kathleen Schilz, Tim Schilz, Angela Zamecnik and Diane Burkhalter. The Friend group is currently holding a membership drive at the Port farmers markets and at a planned Sept. 18 Port Washington beer garden.
