Summer park program registrations accepted

    Registration has opened for the summer park program in Port Washington.
    An open house for the program will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, June 12, at Hill School Park.
    During the open house, parents and youngsters can meet the program leaders, play games, enjoy treats and learn about the program and its field trips.
    Registrations will also be accepted that night.
    The park program offers weekly themes, active games, crafts, friendships and field trips. The program is offered five days a week, but youngsters may attend as often as they like.
    The program, which runs from 12:30 to 5 p.m. daily from June 17 to Aug. 9, is intended for children ages 6 to 12 years old.
    There are three locations, Hill School Park, Kolbach Park and Meadows Park.
    The fee is $150 per child for Port residents and $175 for non-resident.
    Additional children are $75 each for city residents and $85 for non-residents.
