A successful Frothy Forage

Riveredge Nature Center’s Frothy Forage event raised $23,000 this year and saw 600 attendees, with another 100 placed on a waiting list. Funds from the Oct. 9 beer and cider sampling event will be used to benefit the nature preserve. Despite some breweries unable to work the event due to staff shortages, 16 breweries, cider makers and beverage crafters provided drinks. The Pedro’s, Tots and Heirloom MKE food trucks were also present. Enjoying beverages at the event were (from left) Laury and Mike Veksler of Bayside and Mead and Colleen Mangy of Mequon.
