Students to go door-to-door for a good cause

More than 100 teens will help raise money for scholarships this weekend

Grafton High School students will be visiting homes throughout Grafton for the school’s 18th Annual Door-to-Door Scholarship Drive, which will launch Friday, April 22.

From Friday to Sunday, more than 100 volunteer high school students will comb the school district asking for donations to support the Grafton Community Scholarship Fund.

This year the students hope to raise $25,000.

Since 1991 the GCSF has awarded $585,000 in scholarships to district students.

Those who miss student visits to their home may still donate by sending checks made out to Grafton Community Scholarship Fund, Inc. to P.O. Box 468 Grafton, WI 53024.

Residents may also donate by visiting www.grafton.k12.wi.us/schools/high/families/gcsf.cfm.

Questions can be directed to Meg Canepa at mcanepa@grafton.k12.wi.us.
