State park to hold Work Play Earth Day event

Harrington Beach State Park will host Work Play Earth Day on Saturday, April 25.

Activities include planting trees and wildflower seeds, cleaning up the beach, trail maintenance, brush removal and general park cleaning.

Work starts at 9 a.m. Refreshments will be provided at noon.

Park admission is free for volunteers, who should meet at the Ansay Welcome Center parking lot.
