State lighthouses are topic for talk
A program on Wisconsin’s lighthouses will be offered by the Grafton Historical Society at 6 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 16.
The program will be presented by Ken and Barb Wardius, who have published four books on the state’s lighthouses after accumulating a number of photos of these beacons, from Milwaukee North Point to Cana Island Lighthouse.
The program will be at the Rose-Harms American Legion Hall, 1540 13th Ave.
Doors open at 5 p.m. Refreshments and a cash bar will be available.
There is no charge for the program but a free-will offering will be held, with the funds going to the restoration of the historic Grafton Chair Factory painting.
