Singer/Songwriter concert set for Oct. 11

  Patty Stevenson and Craig Siemsen will present a Wisconsin Singer/Songwriter Series concert at 7:30 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 11, at Unitarian Church North in Mequon.

Performing with the couple will be Wisconsin musicians  Peter Roller on dobro and Marc Edelstein, a founding member of Special Consenus, on bass.

Stevenson and Ciemsen are known for their harmonies, impeccable musicianship, stage humor and original songs. 

The couple met while performing at a folk music festival and for years maintained solo careers even after they married. Eventually, they agreed to perform one show as a duo, something they continue today.

Their CD, “Paint Me a Picture,” has received airplay around the world and charted on the Folk DJ Charts and their most recent release, “Look to the Moon,” is receiving great reviews.

Concessions will be available at the church, 13800 N. Port Washington Rd.  

Tickets are $22 in advance, $26 at the door and $12 for students. Discounts of $1 per donated food item to as much as $4  will  be given at the door.

Cowdery and Hope Dunbar on Friday, Feb. 20; Tim Grimm and Sergio Webb on Saturday, March 28; David Wilcox on Saturday, April 11; and Garnet Rogers on Friday, May 8.
