Singer/Songwriter concert to be Feb. 8
The lineup for the Saturday, Feb. 8, Wisconsin Singer/Songwriter Series concert has been changed.
The concert will feature Matt Watroba with Patty Stevensen and Craig Siemsen.
Watroba sings and writes songs of compassion, inner strength, humor and every day living. He was awarded “Best Overall Folk Performer” by the Detroit Music Awards in 2000.
Stevenson and Siemsen, who are known for their harmonies, playful stage humor and original songs, create and record original songs as well as variations of timeless pieces.
They tour the Midwest but their repertoire includes solo recordings, guest appearances on others’ music and, most recently, a CD titled, “Paint Me a Picture,” which has received airplay around the world and charted on the Folk DJ Charts.
The concert will begin at 7:30 p.m. at Unitarian Church North, 13800 N. Port Washington Rd. in Mequon.
Tickets are $20 in advance or $24 at the door and student tickets are $12. Discounts of $1 per food item donated to a maximum $4 will be given at the door.
