Singer, songwriter to perform Feb. 18 concert
Singer and songwriter Dan Navarro will perform a 7:30 p.m. Friday, Feb. 18, concert at Unitarian Church North in Mequon.
The concert is part of the Wisconsin Singer Songwriter Series.
Navarro has had a 40-year career as a songwriter, recording and touring artist, session singer and voice actor who has produced 17 acclaimed albums.
He’s done voice acting in movies including “Coco” and “Happy Feet,” worked on the television shows such as “American Dad” and “Prison Break” video games like “Fallout 4” and “Red Dead Redemption II.”
His songs have also been used in commercials and recorded by artists such as Pat Benatar, The Bangles, Jackson Browne, Dave Edmunds, The Temptations and Dionne Warwick.
He and fellow songwriter Eric Lowen performed as Lowen & Navarro until Lowen’s retirement in 2009, and Navarro now tours as a solo act. In 2019, he released his first studio-recorded album, “Shed My Skin,” to rave reviews.
Tickets for the concert are $19 in advance or $23 at the door, with student tickets set at $12. Discounts of $1 per food item donated to a maximum $4 will be given at the door.

Water will be available for purchase.
