Showcasing student talent while raising money for the performing arts

Choir Director Doug Arendt led students in a performance (top photo) during the March 11 Grafton Music and Theater Boosters Chili Day, an event that showcased the talent of Grafton School District students, featured good food and raised money for performing arts programs. Serving the highlight of the menu were Mike Bergmann and Steve Nauta (right). Haven Banton, 8, and her mother Jessie (left) won dessert during the cake walk. Chili Day featured performances by students of all ages and is the premiere fundraiser for the Boosters, which have provided the district with everything from new instruments, including a piano, to college and camp scholarships.
