Sharon L. Wegner

 

Sharon Lee Wegner of Grafton passed away in her sleep on Monday, Feb. 1, 2021.  

She was born in Illinois to Thomas and Elsie Fritcher on Sept. 11, 1942.  She married Roy Wegner on July 5, 2002, in Las Vegas, Nev.

Sharon retired from Sunbeam after 33 years of dedicated service. After Sunbeam, she owned and operated the Captain’s Quarters bar in downtown Port Washington for five years. Later, Sharon drove for Johnson’s School Bus Services for seven years.

She was an avid mystery novel reader and specifically loved Stephen King. Sharon was a lifelong fan of Elvis Presley, going as far as sneaking out to see him in concert when she was only 14 years old. She enjoyed bowling and shooting pool in local leagues.

Sharon was preceded in death by the love of her life Roy “Ripper” Wegner (2018), her husband of 16 years, and her beloved daughter Debra Dominie (2012).

She is survived by her special friends Brenda and Dawn Lucas, who cared for her for many years, three grandchildren and numerous friends.

Sharon’s wishes were to be cremated and placed with her husband and daughter.

No formal services will be held.
