Seven Warriors take Ozaukee all the way to the top

“Small but mighty” has been the Ozaukee High School track and field team’s motto for years, and it applied once again on April 15 at the Big East Hexagonal in Oostburg.

Just seven girls scored 90 points, enough to edge rivals Cedar Grove-Belgium and Random Lake, who tied for second with 74 points.

Ozaukee’s Madison Glaeser won the 1,600-meter run in 6 minutes, 5.96 seconds and was second in the 3,200 in 13:24.15.

Paige Kurlinski won the shot put with a throw of 38 feet, 6.5 inches and was second in discus with 98-2.
