Senior Center survey being conducted

The City of Port Washington is surveying residents to determine the level of interest in creating a community center that would provide enhanced programming for senior citizens and younger people.

The current Senior Center at 403 W. Foster St. is in a former church in a residential area that “is not conducive to enhancing or expanding the curriculum that could be offered to its adult members,” according to the city.

The results of the survey will be used “to determine public interest in a new community facility that would offer enhanced programming” for seniors, according to the city.

The survey is on the city’s website, www.portwashingtonwi.gov.
