Senior center offers book club, trips to holiday dinner show, casino

Oh, the things people can read and the places they can go courtesy of the Grafton Senior Center.

The book club meets at 1 p.m. the first Thursday of every month in the center’s classroom. On Thursday, Oct. 6, “The Murder of King Tut” by James Patterson and Martin Dugard will be discussed.

A trip to Ho-Chunk Casino near the Wisconsin Dells by deluxe motor coach is set for Friday, Nov. 4. The $42 fee includes transportation, a 10% discount at lunch and $25 in credits on a Ho-Chunk player’s card.

A trip to see “White Christmas” at the Fireside Dinner Theatre in Fort Atkinson is set for Dec. 9.

The $114 fee includes transportation, a meal and ticket to the show.
