Second annual Chili Trail to kick off on Jan. 27

The second annual Ozaukee County Chili Trail will kick off with a Thursday, Jan. 27, party at Lime Cantina in Cedarburg.
The party will run from 4 to 8 p.m. and open the trail, which runs from Jan. 29 to Feb. 28 at participating county restaurants.
The event, which is a fundraiser for Mel’s Charities, allows people to purchase a punch card for free five-ounce chili samples at participating restaurants.
The tickets entitle people to a goodie bag filled with swag from Bell’s Brewery and Mel’s Charities. The bag may be picked up at the kickoff party, the Anvil Cribbage Tournament from noon to 3 p.m. Feb. 6 or at Mel’s offices at N61 N297 Washington Ave. in Cedarburg.
After sampling the chilies, participants may vote for their favorites at bellsbeer.com/ozaukeechili.
Participants who vote for their favorites will be entered into a raffle.
Participants must be 21 or older
