Sculpture exhibit explores relationships

“Relationships: Everything Under the Sun” is the theme for a sculpture exhibit at the Cedarburg Art Museum that will run from May 25 through Oct. 8.

An opening reception will be held from 5 to 6:30 p.m. Friday, June 9.

The exhibit by metalsmith Paul Bobrowitz explores every relationship under the sun.

Bobrowitz shapes and welds metal and found objects to explore the relationship between humankind and our environment, one another and ourselves.

Since 1989, he has been approaching sculpture with a sense of childlike fearlessness, exploring new mediums, styles and techniques to fashion witty, whimsical and introspective forms.

The museum at W63 N675 Washington Ave. is open from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Thursdays through Saturdays and noon to 4 p.m. Sundays.
