Schultz named to staff at Literacy Center

Shannon Schultz of Cedarburg has been hired to be the marketing coordinator for the Adult Literacy Center of Ozaukee County.

Schultz earned her degree in communications from Concordia University Wisconsin in Mequon and spent two decades in the marketing industry.

She has been a consultant for a wide range of companies, from Fortune 500 businesses to nonprofit organizations, gaining experience in freelance writing, event planning, social media management, and graphic design.

“As a former homeschooling mom, literacy is a value I hold close. I’m thrilled to put my skills to use to help others gain knowledge, confidence, and independence in our community,” Schultz said.

The Adult Literacy Center of Ozaukee County started in 1988 as a mission of Grace Lutheran Church in Grafton and became an independent nonprofit organization in 2013.
