Scholar and pollster to speak to Democratic Party

 

Nationally recognized government scholar and pollster Charles Franklin will be the speaker for the Wednesday, April 17, meeting of the Democratic Party of Ozaukee County.

Franklin is a professor of law and public policy at Marquette University and has been the director of the Marquette Law School Poll since inception in 2012. The poll is used to track political races in Wisconsin as well as public policy issues.

Franklin will explain the poll and what election statistics have reflected for Ozaukee County and Wisconsin.

The meeting will be held in the lower level meeting room at the Saukville Municipal Center, 639 E. Green Bay Ave.

Doors will open at 6:30 p.m. for fellowship with the meeting beginning at 7 p.m.

Child care will be provided in an adjoining room.

The party holds its meetings on the third Wednesday of every month.
