Saying thanks to pandemic front-line workers

Mel’s Charities, Wayne’s Drive-In and Ansay and Associate’s Cedarburg office joined forces last week to thank the staff at Lasata Care Center in Cedarburg for its work during the coronavirus pandemic. Clockwise from top: Tom “Mel” Stanton of Mel’s Charities gave a verbal thank you to staff members as they dropped off 100 hamburger and cheeseburger lunches. Delivering boxes of food were Stanton, Commons and Goeman. “It was just a little thank you and an effort to bring some much-needed joy to the staff,” Stanton said. “This is an effort that just screams community.
