Saukville Area Historical Society to hold annual fundraising sale Nov. 23

The Saukville Area Historical Society will host its 16th Annual Holiday Bake Sale and Gift Bazaar from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 23 at the Crossroads Museum, 200 N. Mill St., in Saukville.

The cookie sale is one of the group’s major fundraisers of the year.

Trays of assorted homemade cookies baked by society members will be available, as well as gift wrap and bags, stocking stuffers and other holiday items.

The historical society will reopen its holiday shop during the Landt-Thiel American Legion Post 470’s annual Christmas at the Legion celebration from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 7.

No bakery will be sold by the historical society that day because the Legion will have its own cookie sale.

The Legion event continues from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 8.

Funds raised at both events will go toward the preservation of the 1912 Firehouse and the Society’s archives.
