Saturday event to have them running scared

The annual Saukville Scare 5K run and walk sponsored by the Saukville Chamber of Commerce will be held at 9 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 21, at Grady Park in Saukville.

There will be a DJ and bounce house, and a pumpkin pancake and sausage breakfast after the race.

Those participating are encouraged to wear costumes. There will be prizes for the best costumes.

The run and walk benefits the free breakfast program at Saukville Elementary School. It raises between $1,000 and $3,000 annually for the breakfast program, draws people from throughout the region.
