Santamaria to leave Gallery 224 Sept. 30

Gallery 224 Executive Director Rodrigo Santamaria is leaving his position effective Sept. 30, the Port Washington Arts Council has announced.

Santamaria will be embarking on a new journey and pursue art opportunities both personal and community related, the council said, adding he plans to stay connected to the gallery by continuing his community workshops and volunteering time to enhance the offerings of the gallery.

Santamaria has been director of the gallery since last fall.
