Russ Scheffler race gets rained out, rescheduled

The Plymouth Dirt Track’s third Russ Scheffler Tribute Night last Friday was rained out.
The race has been rescheduled for Thursday, Aug. 27.
All events will be held as originally scheduled, including the driver meet-and-greet, random draws for the drivers and fan giveaways.
The late-model division will be featured as drivers race for a larger purse while they honor Scheffler, a former racer who died unexpectedly in 2017 at age 53.
All four divisions will race. Gates open at 4:30 p.m. with opening ceremonies at 6:30 p.m.
