Ruff Riders run gives German shepherds a hand

The fifth annual Ruff Riders 95-mile poker run on Saturday, Aug. 15, raised more than $8,000 for White Paws German Shepherd Rescue, a Fredonia-based nonprofit group that rehabilitates and finds homes for German shepherds. Seventy-five riders took part (bottom photo) and congregated at the Dawg House in Waubeka at the end of their run. Helping sell raffle tickets were (top left photo) Amber Marzahl, assisted by her friend Brady.
