Robert Depies

Robert N. Depies, 65, died at his Random Lake home Friday, Sept. 6.
He was born in Port Washington on June 8, 1954, to Oliver and LaVerne Streff Depies.
Mr. Depies grew up in Lake Church and attended St. Mary Grade School before graduating from Cedar Grove High School in 1972.
On Aug. 13, 1977, he married Suzanne Reul at St. John’s United Church of Christ in Random Lake. The couple lived in Dacada for a few months before moving to Random Lake in 1978.
Mr. Depies was an inventory clerk at Times Printing for nearly 40 years. He was looking forward to spoiling his granddaughter in retirement, his family said.
Mr. Depies enjoyed traveling and camping with his wife. He also enjoyed watching the Milwaukee Brewers and the Green Bay Packers.
Mr. Depies is survived his wife Susie of Random Lake, son Ben “BJ” (fiancée Maia Van Groll) of the Town of Buchanan, and granddaughter Lucy Edna.
He is further survived by sisters Ginny Depies Schueller of Belgium and Doris (Tony) Fechter of Random Lake; brothers William (Bonnie) of Cedar Grove, James of Sheboygan and Jerry (Brenda) of Cedar Grove; mother-in-law Betty Reul of Random Lake; sisters-in-law Shari (Joe) Krebsbach of Parnell, Linda Kirst of Kewaskum and Mary Serna of Houston; and brother-in-law Mike Reul of Milwaukee.
Mr. Depies was preceded in death by his parents and brother-in-law Miguel Serna.
Funeral services were held Tuesday, Sept. 10, at Eernisse Funeral Home in Belgium. The Rev. Ann Utke officiated.
Interment was at Union Cemetery in Random Lake.
Memorials to the Random Lake Fire Department in Mr. Depies’ name are suggested.
