Repair of bridge to athletic fields falls on city

PORT WASHINGTON - The pedestrian bridge over Sauk Creek leading to the Port Washington High School athletic field will be fixed this fall — but the work will be fully funded by the city.

Members of the city’s General Government and Finance Committee who had said earlier this year they wanted to see the Port-Saukville School District help pay for the work on Tuesday agreed to finance the full cost of the project.
