Ready to tee off for veterans

Sons of the American Legion golf outing organizers Robert (left) and Richard Rieck were at Fire Ridge Golf Club last week preparing for the organization’s 13th annual event that will be held at the Town of Grafton golf course on Saturday, June 3. Registration opens at 8 a.m. and the scramble format event begins with a shotgun start at 9 a.m. The outing, which features fun events and a raffle, is $100 per player or $80 for veterans. The Grafton Rose-Harms American Legion Sons organization uses the proceeds to benefit Camp American Legion, the Stars and Stripes Honor Flight and other causes that support veterans. To register or for more information, call Fire Ridge at (262) 375-2977 or the Riecks at (262) 377-4190.                           Photo by Sam Arendt
