PWPD wants to take to the streets with Night Out

PORT WASHINGTON - There will be another street festival in Port Washington next year if the Police Department has its way.

The Port Police Department will host the county’s National Night Out celebration in 2025, and Police Chief Kevin Hingiss told the Police and Fire Commission on Aug. 12 that plans are to hold the event on Franklin Street.

“It would be kind of like the street fest,” he said.
