Public input sought for Port outdoor rec plan
Public input is being sought as the Port Washington Parks and Recreation Department works to update its Comprehensive Outdoor Recreation Plan.
The department, which concluded a survey of residents earlier this month, is now surveying groups that use the parks and open spaces or that plan to use the facilities.
They are asked to take an online survey at surveymonkey.com/r/PWParksUGSurvey through Monday, Nov. 16, and participate in a meeting about the plan.
The Zoom meeting will be at 6 p.m. Monday, Nov. 16. To join, use the meeting identification 847 4506 5901 and the pass code CORP201.
The information garnered through the study will be used to guide the city in making decisions about improvements at existing parks, new facilities, land acquisition, recreation trail extensions and improvements and handicapped access for the next five to 10 years.
