Program to explore Saukville crossroads
A program on the significance of “the crossroads,” an intersection of Native American trails and early European settler routes, to the Village of Saukville and State of Wisconsin will be given during the quarterly meeting of the Ozaukee County Historical Society on Monday, Aug. 4.
The 7 p.m. meeting will be at the Peter Wollner American Legion Hall in Cedarburg.
The program, set for 7:30 p.m., will be presented by Mary Boyle, a historic re-enactor and organizer of the Crossroads Rendezvous in Saukville from 2018 to 2023.
Copies of “at the Crossroads,” a book by John Boatman regarding the crossroads, will be available for purchase at the meeting.
A cash bar will be available and refreshments serviced.
