Preparing for family fun

The Grafton Lions Club is preparing for its annual Lion Run and Family Fun event, which will be held Saturday, Aug. 9. The event, held in Centennial Park, includes a 9 a.m. 5k run and walk followed by a variety of family oriented activities from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Among those activities are softball games at 11 a.m. and 1 p.m., children’s games, a barrel train ride, Tailwaggers 911 puppies, food and beverages. Proceeds benefit a number of charities, including the Wisconsin Lions Camp for Kids.
