Preparing for the county fair

Mr. and Miss Ozaukee 4-H, Amy Jentges of Little Kohler 4-H and Caleb Gierach of Lindenwood 4-H, are preparing for the county fair, which will be held from Wednesday, Aug. 28, through Sunday, Aug. 1, at the fairgrounds in Cedarburg (left photo) while (right photo, from left) Rebecca Gierach, Caleb Gierach, Amy and Judy Jentges prepared to take a bite of an oversized cream puff. During the fair, 4-H members will sell homemade cream puffs in the Clover Cafe. Contestants for next year’s Mr. and Miss Ozaukee 4-H, including Katelyn Depies of Little Kohler 4-H Club, Abigail Garvey of Cloverleaf 4-H Club, Maria Lee of Lindenwood 4-H Club, Lydia Loupee of Covered Bridge 4-H Club and Jacob Peacy of Knellsville 4-H Club, will be introduced at 6 p.m. Friday, July 30, on the 4-H entertainment stage in the Exhibits Expo South building. The new Mr. and Miss Ozaukee 4-H will be crowned at 1 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 1, on the same stage.
