Port Historical Society online auction ends Sept. 18

The Port Washington Historical Society’s online auction will close at 7 p.m. Friday, Sept. 18.
The closing ceremony will include a 30-minute virtual toast, celebration, reverse auction and paddle raise hosted by former Society President Jeff Morgan.
Bidding will end after the celebration, at 7:45 p.m. Sept. 18.
The auction items include a variety of experiences, including a trip to Door County or Elkhart Lake, the use of a BMW for a weekend, overnight stays in downtown Milwaukee, at the Harborview in Port Washington or the Washington House Inn in Cedarburg, golf and an evening at the chef’s table at The Cheel in Thiensville.
To register for the event, log onto the website http://bidpal.net/pwhs2020gala.
Items are expected to be added each day.
The menu on the left side of the screen can be used to navigate the site, as well as view and bid on auction items.
Updated bidding information will be sent as a message to bidders’ phones or tablets.
If bidders choose the “Buy Now” option, their credit cards will be charged immediately.
Because the gala is the Society’s largest fundraiser of the year, donations are also being accepted between Sept. 11 and 20.
