Port High alumnus is a Top Young Professional

A Port Washington High School alumnus will be featured in the January issue of ENR Midwest as one of its 20 Top Young Professionals in design and construction.

Joel Vande Boom is director of special projects in the Midwest for Gilbane Building Co.

The issue recognizes young industry professionals, all under 40, who represent the best-of-the-best in their careers by exhibiting qualities of leadership, career progress and community involvement, according to the magazine. The honorees have completed innovative projects, developed new ideas and helped deliver change at their firms, agencies and construction companies.
