Port’s winter parking rules go into effect Dec. 1

    Port Washington’s winter parking rules go into effect on Wednesday, Dec. 1.
    No parking will be allowed on any street between 2 and 6 a.m. without permission from the police department.
    Winter parking rules are in effect through April 1.
    City residents are reminded that garbage and recycling carts should not be placed in the street or on snowbanks. They should be left at the end of the driveway or in the parkway.
