Police will hold packages to prevent holiday theft
In an effort to prevent theft during the holiday season, the Grafton Police Department will be accepting package deliveries on the behalf of village and town residents.
From Nov. 16 through Jan. 21, residents can have online orders shipped to the department, 1981 Washington St., Grafton, WI 53204.
The name on each package should be the same as it appears on the resident’s ID card. Packages should be picked up within three to five days from the time of delivery from 7 a.m. to 9 p.m.
The program is free, but residents are asked to donate a canned food item or wrapped toy.
