Planes, Trains & Automobiles event lives up to its name

A Planes, Trains & Automobiles event on Saturday, Sept. 6, delivered on its name by bringing all three modes of transportation to Pioneer Village in the Town of Saukville for a day of events hosted by the Ozaukee County Historical Society. Clockwise from top photo: Scott and Suzanne Buchholtz and James Mahl, members of Grafton’s Astrowings RC Plane Club, moved a remote controlled B17 Flying Fortress that was on display. Peter Stanber was one of several owners who brought their restored cars to the event. Lloyd Bunkelman, a member of the Kettle Moraine Ballast Scorchers, displayed railroad memorabilia.
